Thanks to the support of miners around the planet, support for BIP66 and BIP65 is over 75% in the last 10,000 blocks.

    Once 95% of the last 10,000 blocks are mined using the v0.13.0 wallet the BIPs will become active and blocks from the earlier wallets will be rejected.

    The CSV softfork rules will activate only after they are locked-in.

    In order to lock-in the CSV softfork, miners must build blocks signaling support for it.

    We define the rule change activation threshold in line 85 of src/chainparams.cpp.

    Therein, we see during a timespan of 20160 blocks, 95% of them must signal support for the softfork.

    Since there is no overlap between the timespans with regard to CSV softfork rule activation, we need to know when a timespan begins in order to count the blocks signaling support for it during the timespan.

    There have already been 102 timespans of 20160 blocks in our chain.

    The 103rd timespan of 20160 blocks began at height 2056320, 1543635824 seconds after the epoch on 12/01/2018 @ 3:43am (UTC).

    The 104th timespan of 20160 blocks will begin at height 2076480.

    The 105th timespan of 20160 blocks will begin at height 2096640.

    Since 95% of the blocks during a timespan of 20160 blocks must signal support for the softfork, this implies if there are 1008 blocks or more during a timespan which do not signal support for the softfork then it will be impossible to lock-in CSV until after the next timespan.

    (1 - 0.95) * 20160 = 1008

    It is impossible to lock-in CSV at the end of the 103rd timespan because there have already been more than 1008 v2 blocks mined during the timespan using older software (Mincoin v0.8.8.0).

    Therefore, the earliest possible lock-in for the CSV softfork will be after the 104th timespan and the earliest possible activation will be after the 105th timespan.

    At this rate, we estimate the earliest possible activation for the CSV softfork to be in 33d 7h 25m on 01/12/2019 @ 7:33am (UTC).

I'm sure many of you have noticed that MinCoin has been having some issues with our Difficulty re-target causing a lot of instability in MNC network hashrate, Transaction Confirmation times and overall mining profitability compared to other coins. Today we have made a change to that Difficulty re-target in an effort to help create a more stable network hashrate and to also help stabilize the 1min block/confirm target. just wanted to tell you how to mine with your wallet in a really easy way. Install the Mincoin wallet (OSX in my case), go to help menu and open debug window, open the console and type the comand setgenerate true, press intro. To check it, write the command getmininginfo and press enter, you will find dificulty, hashrate, current blocks etc. If in generate you can read true, it is done. To stop mining use setgenerate false. If you go to the debug window > information you can open the console to watch "what's happening" in real time.

This method works in many wallets like fedoracoin, doge, quarks, if you have a powerfull cpu maybe you can have a try.

should i be seeing something in my wallet, or in the block chain?

when i look at cryptoexplorer i see nothing recorded at any of the addresses mining this pool after 3/28/14.

anybody?

three hours later- still no coin in the wallet. wallet is up to date, with connections, latest version.

i put a small rig on a regular pool after the above post and i just cashed it out to check the wallet and connections. got here in 5 seconds.

in pursuing the shares data i find my address shown regularly.

this is not my first go at p2p mining, and it's gone well untill now

Why the unlock procedure is not explained how to be unlocked?

I even tried the "Forgot Password" procedure but the result is "Unable to set new password"

I tried the "Contact Us" form and it didn't work neither.

Receiving errors of (Share is above target) from cgminer will not mine....

Any suggestions normally solved by altering  -I which is set at 11 and changed up / down no joy....

Today someone started mining at me with 5000 khash and from now we got 12 orphan block only.

How can i get normal and reduce orphan blocks. I think this isnt normal :/

I mined already a couple MNC's and looked behind the pools, the software and such things.

It's very interesting for me - Dont know if anybody else feel so. *smile*

So i looked behind the scenes and asked myself: "Can i make a own pool?"

After a couple minutes of searching i found the answer: "Yes i can"

But the question is now, is it a good idea? I mean it gives a lot of pools already. How can i announce my pool, when i set it up?

Can i get some workers who mine with me? Or should i not do that?
