p2pool.org? Thanks for your help on this issue! .
-
If you're trying to connect to p2pool.org the owner should be updating at some point today hopefully. Please try using one of these pools in the meantime *Mincoin.io Pool: http://pool.mincoin.io/ *Snow Leopard's Hashery (Canada): http://mincoin.x1z.net *Vircur Pool: http://mnc.vircurpool.com/ *Coinmine.pw: http://www.coinmine.... pool&coinid=30

We've been in the process of contacting p2pool.org they are currently in need of an update. Please try using one of these three pools in the meantime. What hashrate are you mining with around 2mhs? *Mincoin.io Pool: http://pool.mincoin.io/ *Snow Leopard's Hashery (Canada): http://mincoin.x1z.net *Vircur Pool: http://mnc.vircurpool.com/

For starters MinCoin is now accepted at Cryptothrift.com

This would be nice If I knew I was never going to lose my keys again and If there was a way to keep it from getting scratched. I'll buy! This might be an idea as well. http://mincoinforum.com/index.php/topic/213-physical-mincoins/

Hi Please I need Help recovering my old wallet
CC66 replied to Sifsif's topic in Mincoin Cryptocurrency Wallet Tech Support
Depending on how much $ value you had in coins.. data recovery service from an HDD manufacturer or similar service would probably be more than you would be willing to spend.. If you had thousands or more in coins.. it may be worth looking into. If not...... Before deleting anything else or installing/uninstalling ANYTHING - Try downloading this. http://www.piriform.com/recuva You can also do a search for file recovery software because there are others that have more in depth options but this one is the easiest and most straight forward. (This program works for most recently deleted file types. I've recovered pics, vids, setup files, etc with this program. But I'm not positive if a wallet.dat would be too fragmented/corrupted to read again or not. I think a safe recovery will depend on how much free space is on the drive and how many other things you have been written to the drive since the file was deleted. So hopefully you didn't delete it then download a bunch of files.. or install/uninstall any programs.) Either way Good Luck! Let me know if this helped. -
What hashrate?

I would think the best way to go about starting a pool is at least having a decent amount of your own hashing power. I can't imagine most miners wanting to mine on a pool that the owner isn't using themselves. ( I know I don't) I would suggest adding some of your own equipment and then invite people to the club.

First delete the old .bin files. Then run the .bat file without --thread-concurrency xxxxx cgminer will try and find the TC that's right for your card. In the cgminer folder look for the new .bin file created that looks something like this scrypt130511Tahitiglg2tc22400w256l4.bin the number after the "tc" is the thread concurrency that should work for your card. On my 280x I use --thread--concurrency 22400

So how is the new wallet working out so far?
-
I remember the days of mining with a gtx660 I use to be in awe of the people that had over 1mhs
-
Try adding these commands to the beginning of your cgminer .bat file. The first one should solve the issue you're having allowing higher --thread-concurrency setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1

Most likely multipool or some other pool that switches between alt coins based on current mining profitability.
