Yes, and as the site grows the Ad space there will become more valuable. This should also have a latent bullish effect on MinCoin prices.

I'd say commodity, currency is just a random trust that the FED can randomly print out whenever they want

Yes, I agree. I think one of the key differences between a "Currency" and a "Commodity" is how they come into existence. Printing at will, and having no end to the "supply" is very anti-commodity to me. When something has a very real limit on how much of it can be produced then I start to think of it as being more commodity like.

i guess MinCoin Forum would be the biggest faucet for now. Staffs seem to be very generous on inviting new MNC comers

We have tried to give everyone who signs up here a chance to get some free mincoin, either by simply signing up or by contributing to the forum via posting.

I have a suggestion for the forum but do not know where to post, would like to see a place on the forum for Brazilian - Portuguese to change ideas, thanks.

Yes, this can be done. I have been thinking about creating sub-forums for a multilingual forum experience, but at this time it seems we do not have the member #s to support this.

If there are enough requests made for one particular language I will consider adding that sub-forum. Otherwise I was thinking of re-visiting this idea once we are around the

300 member mark.

New mincoiner here, as of yesterday!

 

I found out about mincoin after I discovered mcxnow.com a couple of days ago. I signed up over there also with the user name "alttin".

 

I first jumped in to the crytocurrency pool with bitcoin not long ago, and I now I'm little by little studying more and more about it, and seeing how deep the rabbit hole goes. :-)

 

It's very fascinating to see the explosion of altcoins! The market diversity on the Crypsy exchange is nuts... 

 

Mincoin is going to be my first venture into the mining side of things. I've just gotten set up with a mining pool and started kilohashing away with my paltry notebook GPU. :-P

BTC in my opinion is in full bubble mode right now. If you were to buy alt coins instead of 1 BTC, the amount you would have spent on BTC would make you a prince right now in an altcoin...

 

1 graphics card = 1 BTC? I think we are overbought here. Adding more people to a coin does not make it exponentially better. In fact, it makes it crowded, slow, and can draw unwanted attention on a coin with questionable legal status.

 

If you have any faith in altcoins, it would be wise to hold. If you don't, just sell so that you can hold onto an increasingly centralized coin.

Just wanted to make a quick update. With recent price surges MinCoin market cap has inreased substantially in the past couple of weeks and now stands $ 472,272(usd) And reached an intra-day high of over $ 500,000(usd) !!!

Also, currently MinCoin is ranked(by market cap) #9, coinmarketcap.com with intra-day price surges pushing it up even into the #8 spot !
