  1. Considering 1 7950 can mine for roughly 0.005 BTC a day on middlecoin.com, and I mine roughly 4 MNC a day per card, it is actually rather fair to say that MNC should stay in the 0.0013 range until the dumpers get it over with and we start making services for this coin :)

I agree with you on the dumpers. I would rather have them dump at these levels where my btc can buy more, then at 0.002+ where I can buy less with the same amount of btc. I nice consolidation and some more dumping around this new base/floor (~0.001) then a move back over 0.002 and that will put a BIG :) on my face.

  2. Everyone, please read below and take necessary precautions.

"Unfortunately, it was recently discovered that the Bitcoin Forum's server
was compromised. It is currently believed that the attacker(s) *could* have
accessed the database, but at this time it is unknown whether they actually did
so. If they accessed the database, they would have had access to all
personal messages, emails, and password hashes. To be safe, it is
recommended that all Bitcoin Forum users consider any password used
on the Bitcoin Forum in 2013 to be insecure: if you used this
password on a different site, change it. When the Bitcoin Forum
    returns, change your password.

Passwords on the Bitcoin Forum are hashed with 7500 rounds of
sha256crypt. This is very strong. It may take years for
reasonably-strong passwords to be cracked. Even so, it is best to
assume that the attacker will be able to crack your passwords.

The Bitcoin Forum will return within the next several days after a
full investigation has been conducted and we are sure that this
    problem cannot recur.

Check http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/ and #bitcoin on Freenode for
    more info as it develops.

    We apologize for the inconvenience."

  3. Nice work tramp.   This forum needs to come up if somebody google's MinCoin as well!

Yeah, currently on the 3rd page of google search results. Google is giving priority to MinCoin related sites that have been published longer but

don't have as much recent activity. That will change, but we will have to work our way up through the ranks. I'm guessing we will

be on first page google search results within a month. :)

  4. I've actually been stocking up on Mincoin lately. Even been pointing some hashes at it. I have high hopes for it. Just no, "to da moon" stuff please. Don't kill it people..

Yeah, I agree. That "to the mooooN" stuff can be a bit annoying. Being realistic, getting above 0.002 and hitting as high 0.003xx should be easily obtainable within the

next couple of months if not sooner. Still have some people who bought some size below 0.0007 that need to dump and transfer their coins to stronger hands but eventually

those with strong hands will prevail. ;)

  5. done, support both 32bit and 64bit. :D

please reupload it to better file hosting.

most important part is read this one https://build.opensuse.org/package/view_file/home:aguswinata/mincoin-qt/PKGBUILD?expand=1

coz this is where i put "dangerous" stuff,

Thanks for putting this together. As necom mentioned a newer client is now available. It has not been "officially" released as we were still testing it.

However, if we can get a couple of people (I dont run linux) to test out your linux client I would be more than happy to send you a few coins

for your efforts thus far :) Also, if you end up doing a linux version for the latest build I will be more than happy to send you some bounty coins

for that version as well :)

Thanks again for your support ;)

  6. So it will be possible that MNC will be double the price of bitcoin?

Bitcoin has the advantage of being "first to market" and has established itself with a solid following. That being said, I could see MinCoin easily reaching a price $10usd/MinCoin

in the next 12months. And remember, High crypto-coin prices attract news, news attracts people....speculators, investors, traders, users, miners.......

Once the "buzz" is out as CC66 said in the previous post: "Anything is possible" :)

  7. I enjoy the functionality the site offers, such as the post liking, easy reply, and after signing up I noticed your forum already grabbed my picture from the nets for me.  This looks like it will be a fun lil' community.  Can't wait to get to know you guys.  B)

Welcome Welcome Mr hanks. Thanks for joining our MinCoin community !! Now let's have some fun.....and make some $$ :)

  8. is there somewhere a MNC faucet available?

I don't think we currently have an active MNC faucet. Maybe we can get someone to put one back up for a small MNC bounty :)

This is the only one I could find.. but I think before it was working and have been modified

    http://mncfaucet.vircurpool.com/

Yeah that ^ is no longer a MNC faucet site. It is for buying the Ad space on mcxNOW with MNC.

    is that realy faucet?

    No.
