Thats right kids a new and exciting exchange has been setup to start taking USD transfers and has now added MinCoin

The owner of the site even named his child ATOMIC to symbolize how focused and confident he is with his trade engine becoming one of cryptos' finest exchanges

So i am Extremely proud to announce that he added MinCoin

Atomic Trade Exchange has a lotto which you are entered into each time you trade. It has chat banning, tipping other users, fun games and a great crowd.

Atomic Trade Exchange has what they call ATP/BTC pair and its a user mined commodity, bound to the exchange and you use it for the games and different trader account upgrades and every part of the 6k ATP you hold by mining it through trading or chatting in the chat box; you get a payout based on the amount you hold relative to the amount in circulation at that time and the payout will be 40% of the exchanges trading fees generated.

    How cool is that right

But most importantly it is on an exchange that is dealing with USD and this is fantastic news and a Milestone for MinCoin so feel free to celebrate on this wonderful achievement

LongAndShort got a reaction from SuperTramp in --Crisis Averted Thanks To Fast Acting Devs--
Dear MinCoin users, In a rush to get the mac/osx client out to the MinCoin community we decided to outsource the work unlike the windows and linux build which were done in house.

We ran some initial tests on the osx build and everything looked 'good'. However, after ~10 downloads of the mac/osx client, one of our users reported he was experiencing 'strange wallet behavior' and upon hearing this we immediately pulled the OSX client D'L link from the site to investigate the issue.

Upon further testing we found that our hired osx dev had left a private key to his personal wallet in the file. Now we are not certain if this was left over from his testing and simply a clerical error made in haste to finish the client as quickly as possible but it is possible it may have been intentional and done with ill-intent.

Either way, thanks to our fast acting dev team the D'L was pulled and at this point in time we have only been notified of one user having a 'missing coin' issue and we have apologized to said individual and issued a refund of the 3mnc he lost with a couple extra for his troubles.

For now, if you happened to be one of the other 9 users who downloaded the mac/osx client version please transfer any coins out to a non-mac/osx client or to an exchange like mcxNOW.com. and delete the client in its entirety(Do not backup the wallet.dat). And we apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused you.

Also, please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns about this matter, we can be reached via email:admin@mincoin.io

For those still wanting a mac/osx client, please know we will be developing a new version, Built In House, and it will be available for download shortly. We appreciate and thank you for your patience while we work on getting this new client built.

    Sincerely, -MNC Dev Team

LongAndShort reacted to Jusdem in Android/iOS - Devs NEEDED!
    Hey,

now that Mincoin is on it's way to being re-branded and re-launched with a whole new look and feel, part of this initiative will be to ensure we have wallets that are compatible with both Android and iOS, and having a simple Android price ticker (widget) tied to MCXnow (the home of MNC) would be nice too - but wallets are priority.

Do we have anybody here that's capable of coding something like this, starting with the wallets? I can help with design and graphics if need be.

Yup just as i thought, what is happening is you have a large number of small inputs..from what i can tell its from the p2pool node you have been mining on
its a pain i know but what happens is u have alot of small inputs (u have mined a few coins but have been sent those coins over about 100 transactions and they all need to be signed when you send coins from ur wallet..think of a $50 note when you goto the shop you buy a coke and the merchant breaks it down and gives you back change

So now when you go home you put the coins in a jar and save them up and one day you want to pay rent with it well you have to go to the bank and get them to change it into a note again so it may cost you a fee cause they have to count it
its the same for the network u have to pay for it to check every input..anyhow im not good at explaining things but i would suggest you stop mining at the p2pool because u will always have huge transaction fees attached to ur coins because you are getting such small amounts each block mined from it.

Go to a pool where you can accumulate coins and be sent them in a lump sum...hope this helps ..btc and litecoin networks are not good for small transactions like this. i think the yacoin client is trialing something to combine them all somehow but haven't followed it in along time..if this happens when youa re mining on a bigger pool it also means they are sending you coins from many transactions and you should leave that pool asap..hope this helped
