  1. I sent a coin to it, you should be able to see it now on the blockchain http://mnc.cryptoexplore.com/address/M7uX9bX4AUCuYwmzHGZq6EkmVkbu1fXVSg The blockchain site you used before also is down and this one is its replacment
  2. I found a guy on the bitcointalk forum he wants 1btc to build it...so far its better then any other offer so ill pursue it some more
  3. Depending on where you live there should be one in your country try calling them up and finding out!
  4. You have a couple of options and depending on how much you want it to be back; you will use them accordingly. If you have that much ltc you want back then you will of course find a company you can pay to get those files back. Alternatly you can try these options and there are plenty of services out there just try one. I hope you get your .dat file back goodluck. http://www.piriform.com/recuva http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk http://www.ontrackdatarecovery.com.au/hard-drive-recovery/?gclid=CKD26b-Mm7wCFYqPfgodeV0AEA
  5. Older cards you used to have to play with lookup-gap but 290 is safe to just use lookup-gap 2 and if its not in the batch file or conf then it will automatically set 2 His/her TC dosn't make sense TC should be around 12x shader clock, which for 290 (no x) is 2560 and should be in multiples of that number to be optimal. worksize should be fine at 512 for a few 290 cards but will prolly be better to be used in this formula. 250KH and below: 16 250+: 32 500+: 64 1000+: 128 2000+: 256 3000+: 384 4000+: 512 To me his/her ultimate settings would be -I 20 -g 1 --worksize 256 --thread-concurrency 30720 If he/she is still having errors could be a lack of ram issue (even though it worked for one coin but not another. Its weird and i have found weird phenomona in this regard)
  6. Its to do with coin destroyed days and you need to leave the coin in your wallet for at least a couple of days so you don't get hit with a huge fee! it is hard to explain because its alot to learn but leave newly minted BLOCKS in a wallet for more then a week and you will be fine! same rules don't apply for coins you have accumulated over many small transactions of .001 and .1 and less they all need to be signed and they all cost fee stay away form p2pool if you don't have much hashing power and leave newly minted blocks in your wallet for awhile and you should have no issues
  7. Ok i'm almost certain the issue is ram. 2gb in my opinion is not enough and what is happening it is getting clogged up handling shares for miners and your front end site. When you get hit by more then a few mh it solves the block then because its clogged it doesn't broadcast the found block in time. I came and hashed at your pool found a block and it wasn't broadcasted at all so then the next pool found that block and then yours about 3 mins later saw that it was orphan. can you add these nodes to your .conf please you may not have enough connections and find out how man connections you have by running getinfo usually ./mincoind getinfo after that enter these nodes into your conf file addnode=node1.mincoin.io addnode=node2.mincoin.io addnode=node3.mincoin.io addnode=node4.mincoin.io get back to us when you have this info and added those nodes and ill hash on your pool again to see if it helped but i seriously think you have a ram problem and maybe need to raise all of your ajax refresh intervals but lets try this after we get you some more connections and i hash on your pool again
  8. Ok that is strange, im going to be a bit blunt. Making a pool is not really something you should go and do right away in crypto without much experience. You have peoples funds in your control and should really be afraid to have anyones money in your hands if you don't know what you are doing. That being said i think its great to learn somehow. Second blunt thing to say is when you have any kind of problem you must be ever so specific about everything you can to help us deduct what the problem is or could be. It is usually different for so many people due to so many different operating systems and memory and cpu and internet You must come into a forum asking for help saying you have a problem and your specs are 1: operating system (eg ubuntu, derbian, centos, windows) and is it a server or desktop and what version the operating system is 2: how much ram you have 3: what cpu you are using (if you are using linux via ssh then put cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep -i "model name" 4: is the server a home computer or a proper vps or dedicated server. I think either a couple things have gone wrong 1 its because of your low hashrate but i'm not convinced of this. 2 because your net is extremely bad 3 you don't have enough ram to run the server and programs so they lag to send data through the internet thus you're getting orphans It could be so many things we just don't know so start by telling us at least those things first whenever you ask for help anywhere you should always give as much information as you can! i have no problems helping you.
  9. Can you give me the block number of one of the orphans when this orphan rally started please?
  10. Yup i have no issues pitching in to fund a professional to dev what we need! If someone gets a thread on bitcointalk putting the call out for some devs we will get it funded. Its time to move on this and move hard!
  11. yer his pool was going on and off that day but it seems to be fixed now, apparently according to necom vircupool was being attacked but its been up for ages now
  12. Basically every wallet client is a node, so every client running is a node (mining from it or not) and works to receive a transaction that has been submitted at point A and then broadcasts that transaction to other nodes so they then continue to verify it by searching the blockchain to find where all of those coins came from then they say its good and they don't broadcast to the network that they don't like that transaction. Here is a link to more info if you are that keen http://www.imponderablethings.com/2013/07/how-bitcoin-works-under-hood.html
  13. Yup just as i thought, what is happening is you have a large number of small inputs..from what i can tell its from the p2pool node you have been mining on its a pain i know but what happens is u have alot of small inputs (u have mined a few coins but have been sent those coins over about 100 transactions and they all need to be signed when you send coins from ur wallet..think of a $50 note when you goto the shop you buy a coke and the merchant breaks it down and gives you back change So now when you go home you put the coins in a jar and save them up and one day you want to pay rent with it well you have to go to the bank and get them to change it into a note again so it may cost you a fee cause they have to count it its the same for the network u have to pay for it to check every input..anyhow im not good at explaining things but i would suggest you stop mining at the p2pool because u will always have huge transaction fees attached to ur coins because you are getting such small amounts each block mined from it. Go to a pool where you can accumulate coins and be sent them in a lump sum...hope this helps ..btc and litecoin networks are not good for small transactions like this. i think the yacoin client is trialing something to combine them all somehow but haven't followed it in along time..if this happens when youa re mining on a bigger pool it also means they are sending you coins from many transactions and you should leave that pool asap..hope this helped
  14. Ok, so this is a great idea to be on a back burner...for now, are you still keen to work it mate and can you tell me what needs to be done to implement it when mincoin is ready. ..By ready i mean we all have a bit or work to do right now on the logo the website and then pr'ing the coin hard to get miners on it to secure it Let us know so we can help..its time to start working on Mincoin and i hope to see some people step up
  15. Yup i can confim that i can even mine blocks while its doing this..im pretty sure it has to do with irc but not sure
  16. Usually lookup gap plays a part with tc issues but this is my line for 290x dont know if it will help but its a try its a sweet spot i get about 845kh..i have higher temps atm because i want it to be quiet but its safe at that level it just uses more power cause power gets dispersed by way of heat if you don't mind noise keep ur fan at 75 imo..hope it helps -I 20 -g 1 -w 512 --auto-fan --temp-target=85 --temp-overheat 92 --thread-concurrency 32765 --lookup-gap 2 --expiry 1 -s 1 --no-submit-stale --queue 0 --gpu-engine 880 --gpu-memclock 1375 --gpu-powertune 20
  17. Just out of curiosity can you send some coins to another wallet and post the block that transaction was in please..make sure it has rediculus fees. you can use this site to track it http://blockexplorer.vircurpool.com/chains
  18. Hi everyone i'm new here but i'm a regular at mcxnow.com i believe in Mincoin as its stats are just to delicious. I live in Australia i am a crypto enthusiast. I mine and am planning to open up some sort of shop that will deal with the public directly selling Bitcoin and possibly many other things relating to crypto this year in Melbourne. Mostly i would like to see it as a learning center for crypto in general and a bricks and mortar establishment for people wanting to get in on the coins and possibly setting up a merchant program to teach or take the headache out of dealing with crypto as a medium of exchange in their businesses , my other focus will be setting up in that shop will be a place for crypto startups to network and possibly get funded. Anyhow thats me in a nutshell..i'm rough around the egdes, don't type or punctuate or spell well at all but i'm clever, motivated and have a heart of gold....did i mention always right...i'm always right. P.S I have a stake in MNC now and am vested to see it do well.. and it will, pm me or talk to me anytime about anything especially crypto related and extra especially if its related to my plans to dominate the world
